I began my business in 2012 when I had asked a friend to make me a necklace similar to one I had found at a local business for much more cost than I was used to paying. She made it for me in no time and I looked at it and thought "I could learn to do that".  I began my learning journey at Michaels classes in a city nearby. I live in a small rural community and drove to class after work for six different classes. I then started designing my jewelry and friends started noticing  and ordered pieces. I then opened my Facebook page and had some consignments. I have also taken classes at a Lapidary School and other tutorials and seminars. My handcrafted items began as a whim but has grown into a passion of specializing in unique handcrafted goods. Artistry isn’t just the execution and production of Becky's Sparkle Designs pieces, it’s also making sure each piece will look beautiful wherever it’ll be displayed.
